Indication
Chlorpromazine hydrochloride is indicated for the following treatments: NEUROPSYCHIATRY: acute psychiatric conditions, or in the control of long-term psychoses. GENERAL PARCTICE: anxiety and agitation manifestation, uncontrollable hiccups, nausea and vomiting and childhood neurotoxicosis; it can also be associated with barbiturates on tetanus treatment. OBSTETRICS: in obstetric analgesia and eclampsia treatment. It is also indicated in neuroleptic, vagolytic, sympatholytic, sedative or antiemetic action in needed cases."
